North Kesteven School introduces Neil Wilkinson-McKie as its new Head Teacher

“It is coming to the end of my second week as Head Teacher at North Kesteven School and I can honestly say that is a privilege to work here. The staff and students are a real asset to the school and community. Students are full of excitement and enjoyment about school and learning. They are very positive about their education and tell me about how they take full advantage of the opportunities that are made available through the hard work and dedication of the staff at the school. The staff are clearly second to none! We are very fortunate to have the expertise that exists in the school and I am very grateful to everyone for the warm welcome I have received.  I would also like to thank parents for their warm welcome, I look forward to getting to know many of you well. There is a vast array of activity going on at North Kesteven making full use of the world class facilities that we have.  If you would like more information about what is going on please do not hesitate to get in touch.”

Staying on the subject of school this year’s North Kesteven School production is ‘High School Musical’. East High is brimming with the championship winning Jocks and Cheerleaders, the Brainiac and the Thespians. High School Musical is a modern day adaptation of the classic love story of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ featuring fast paced dance routines and sing-a-long songs. This musical is a hit with all ages as we see Troy and Gabriella from opposing sides of High School  social circles brought together, yet held apart by their rival factions.  With over a hundred students involved in the cast it is a fitting scale for the school’s return to the Terry O’Toole Theatre following the recent renovation works. Come along to this year’s production to show that, ‘We Are All In This Together!’ Show dates are; Tuesday 6th – Friday 9th December. Tickets are available now and can be purchased from the Terry O’Toole Theatre Box Office.
